Launching Ceremony of Country Report 2020 on Non-Banking and Modaraba sector was held on 25th January 2021 at IBA Auditorium, Karachi through Zoom video link as well as physically.
Dr. Ishrat Husain, Advisor to the Prime Minister on Institutional Reforms and Austerity was the Chief Guest.
Dr. Akber Zaidi, Executive Director IBA, Mr. Farrukh H. Sabzwari, Commissioner, SECP also addressed the participants.
Mr. Basheer A. Chowdry, Chairman, NBFI & Modaraba Association of Pakistan presented the Report to Dr. Akber Zaidi.
In his address Mr. Chowdry said that the report includes various aspects of the Non-Banking and Modaraba sector encompassing its evolution, growth, structure, performance, Shariah compliance and regulatory framework, and provided comprehensive coverage of the sector.
